PAC Ko Pangan has been gratefully embraced by the local residents of the island, as there has never been any option to obtain treatment unless the animal was brought to the adjacent island. PAC has been operating since September 2001 as a non-profit nursing clinic providing medical treatment for all animals. PhaNgan Animal Care (PAC) is the sole provider of veterinary care for the animals of Koh PhaNgan - a small island located in the Gulf of Thailand.
